Position Type: Part Time

Salary Range: $175.00 - $180.00 Hourly

Senior Program Manager

Urban Engineers is seeking qualified individuals in New York to join the Facilities Construction Management Department as our Senior Program Manager. This position will manage major Transit Project Management / Construction Management initiatives in the New York Metropolitan area.

Responsibilities


  • Assist with new business initiatives and office management in NYC.
  • Organize and manage task workloads within established budget and schedule guidelines.
  • Provide management of the overall activities and staff of the PMO program.
  • Provide management to Construction Management (CM) personnel.
  • Assist with management of staff assignments and tracking and constructability efforts.
  • Establish budget forecasts, manpower estimates, equipment, and supply need.

Requirements :


  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer in state of NY
  • A minimum of 20 years of management experience in Project Planning, Engineering and Construction of major capital projects.

The resume should highlight experience in passenger rail or related transportation modes for the eight elements shown below:


  • Engineering design management
  • Project planning management
  • Construction management
  • Public outreach management
  • Federal grant management process
  • Regulatory and compliance experience
  • Project oversight services
  • FTA's New Starts program
