Job Summary

Provides direct patient care using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization.

Job Duties
Knowledge of methods, techniques and quality control required for processing radiographic film with optimum results.
Skill in obtaining adequate diagnostic X-Ray views on patients for which normal techniques and methods are not possible, requiring techniques which deviate from the normal.
Ability to perform radiological examinations in a variety of conditions; such as emergency trauma and also have the ability to manage patient care in trauma situations.
Knowledge of common business, medical electronic health record and picture archiving and communication system (PACS) software applications.
Ability to communicate courteously and effectively to patients, other staff and the general public.

Requirements
High School diploma or GED, required.

Licensure: Any unrestricted state license
Certifications required: BLS, ARRT (R)(CT) Arizona state license for both XR and CT Associate's Degree in radiology, preferred

Experience: GE experience a plus

Facility Overview/Details:

Fort Defiance Indian Hospital, Fort Defiance, AZ 86504

Specialty: CT / XRAY Tech (Hybrid Role)

Weekly schedule: 1:00pm - 1:00am, 36 hrs per week

Duties: Mostly doing X-rays, will need to cover CT duties should CT Tech calls out.
