Job Description:

Responsible for the payment of agent compensations, and assisting and supporting management in the evaluation, recommendation, establishment, implementation and analysis of agent compensation, financial and system stability and customer service satisfaction.

  • Ensure the accuracy, timeliness and efficiency of monthly compensation payments to agents.
  • Support sales staff, both internal and external, in terms of problem identification, resolution and
  • trend analysis.
  • Support business unit efforts related to new system implementation and HIPAA initiatives.
  • Provide assistance to the Senior Sales Analyst in training and supporting the needs of other
  • department staff members.
  • Identify, plan, design and implement necessary system modifications, new or existing reports,
  • policies and procedures as assigned in conjunction with the IT team.
  • Coordinate and provide technical support for incentive programs and various corporate projects.
  • Conduct analysis and assessments of compensation trends to identify accuracy and efficiency of
  • application results.
  • Assign and perform quality review of work for other assigned department staff members.
  • Coordinate and provide technical support for tracking customer activity within the BCBSM
  • corporate systems.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Mathematics, Information Systems or related area preferred.
  • Two (2) years experience in an analytical, research or management information position in service, health or sales related industry preferred. Project planning and familiarity with the client server environment preferred.
  • Knowledge of the Agent Sales Distribution Channel and Agent Compensation structures.
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, presentation, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively identify, summarize and clearly communicate analytical findings with internal and external customers.
  • Working knowledge and use of PC applications, computer systems (e.g Salesforce CRM, BCN Facets, etc.), agent sales distribution system, and software packages (e.g. Access, Excel, Word and Outlook).
  • Ability to navigate, execute programs in the Salesforce CRM mainframe environment and generate reports and queries in Access, track data and operate all functions at a high level of proficiency.
  • Ability to make decisions within scope of responsibility, maintain confidentially of sensitive information, work within a team environment and handle multiple assignments.
