Systems Engineer

Contract Position

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for identification and analysis of the cyber-attack surfaces and will implement the relevant cybersecurity controls on MFC products.


• Responsible for performing cybersecurity maintenance, to include continuous monitoring, security updates, patching, and hardening.


• Responsible for providing cybersecurity oversight our Systems and Software teams and providing the necessary documentation and artifacts to support and maintain any ATOs for MFCs products.


• Provide embedded System Security Engineering design and implementation in all aspects of System Security Engineering (SSE) process in development of Department of Defense (DoD) Weapon Systems


• Assess and mitigate System Security threats/risks throughout the embedded Weapon System development life cycle


• Validate System Security Engineering requirements decomposition, allocation and analysis for Test Systems


• Implement System Security Engineering solutions hardware and software


• Verify implementation of system security requirements


• Analyze weaknesses, vulnerabilities and threats against System Security posture on product designs

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree combined with 3 + years of relevant work experience; or Master's Degree


• Secret Clearance


• 5 + years of experience with the following:

  • Systems Development
  
  
  • Systems Security
  
  
  • Systems Analysis & Design Skills
  
  
  
  


• Areas of expertise:
  
  
  • Information Security 2-4 years of experience.
  
  
  • Systems Development 2-4 years of experience.
  
  
  
  


• Desired Skills:
  
  
  • 5 + Years of Systems Engineering experience.
  
  
  • 5 + Years of Software Engineering experience.
