Join our client's mission-driven nonprofit as a Grants & Compliance Manager, where you'll oversee the grants administration and compliance efforts, ensuring accurate reporting and documentation while supporting staff with implementation tools. About the Job:


  • Support the grants management process in collaboration with the Grant Writer and department leadership, including budget preparation, financial document creation, and reporting to program managers and funding agencies.

  • Develop implementation tools for staff to effectively manage grants and gift agreements, collaborating with various departments.

  • Serve as the grants subject matter expert, staying updated on regulatory requirements and creating standard operating procedures (SOPs) and policies for grants processes.

  • Oversee grant details and compliance post-award, including expenditure tracking, team time allocations, and deadline management for deliverables, working closely with multiple teams.

About You:

  • A bachelor's degree is preferred; an Associates Degree is required.

  • 3+ years of hands-on grants management experience is required.

  • Demonstrate an eager and driven attitude, efficiently diving into tasks to get things done within a fast-paced environment and showcasing a high-level of detail-orientation.

  • Extremely tech-savvy with experience using Salesforce, Agiloft, Raiser's Edge, etc.

  • Strong understanding of Federal/Public grants required; additional familiarty with State, Local, and Private grants ideal.

About the Position:

  • $75K-$80K, depending on experience.

  • Hybrid office schedule of 2-3 days/week onsite in Upper Marlboro, MD.

  • Free on-site parking is provided.
