Our customer has an immediate need for a Mainframe COBOL/IDMS Programmer to support a large mainframe payroll application. This role will be part of the Programming Team with responsibility of translating software requirements into design specifications and coding the new requirements
Minimum Requirements
Working knowledge of DMLO, REXX, CLIST, IDMS SQL, and JCL.
Minimum 3-5 years COBOL/IDMS programming experience.
Security+ Certification is required prior to starting.
Ability to obtain DoD security clearance.
A degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience with AGILE methodology..
Capability to work in a team environment, as well as independently.
Ability to maintain a positive relationship with customers and other vendors.
Demonstrated ability to comply with data standards and policies.
Possess motivation to learn new technologies and methodologies that demonstrate value.
