Our new company


Our client is one of Houston's leading heavy civil contractors who operate in the civil construction market. They self-perform all of their work and specialize in earthwork, underground utilities, bridge construction, concrete paving and concrete structures. They work on both TxDOT and municipal projects ranging from $1Mill up to $50Mill. They have an excellent reputation in the market and have been in Houston for over 40 years. Due to increased public work, they are now looking for a project manager who has experience working on TxDOT projects.


Your new role


Your role as a project engineer will be to work closely with the civil construction team throughout the lifecycle of the project. Your day-to-day duties will consist of liaising with project managers and superintendents, coordinating with subcontractors reporting on cost and schedules, as well as assisting with change orders and invoices. You will also be required to troubleshoot any issues and work on solutions to key problems.


What you'll need to succeed


You will come with at least 3 years' experience working as a project engineer for a heavy civil construction organization. You will be looking to join a team where you can grow and develop your long-term career. Exceptional communication skills as well as the attitude to learn and develop are necessary for this position.
