Description: Our client is currently seeking a Program Manager
The primary responsibility of this position is to manage and supervise the Substance Abuse/Co-Occurring Disorders Program. The role involves ensuring the provision of high-quality services, including advocacy, service coordination, resource procurement, counseling, and support for all clients. The incumbent will plan and implement activities aimed at assisting clients with mental illness and co-occurring substance abuse disorders in maintaining or improving their daily living activities, interdependence, community integration, and sobriety maintenance.
Educational Requirements:
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Human Services, or Addiction Counseling. Additionally, one to three years of relevant work experience is required.
Key Responsibilities:
Staff Management: Hire, supervise, and train staff members. Conduct performance evaluations and initiate disciplinary actions as necessary.
Clinical Operations: Oversee the day-to-day clinical operations of the program, ensuring adherence to agency policies and scheduling.
Client Services: Regularly evaluate the status of clients to ensure that the services provided align with their needs.
Training: Conduct training sessions on substance abuse prevention and sobriety maintenance, incorporating a 12-step focus and evidence-based practices for co-occurring disorders.
Admissions: Direct and coordinate the admission process for clients entering the program.
Activity Planning: Develop a monthly activity calendar and identify community resources to support sobriety.
Counseling Services: Provide individual and group counseling services.
Treatment Planning: Oversee the creation of treatment plans and client evaluations.
Documentation: Complete all required documentation, including individual treatment plans, progress notes, and appropriate record keeping for billing and utilization.
Social and Recreational Activities: Organize and facilitate social and recreational activities suitable for the clientele.
Service Review: Regularly review the quantity and quality of services provided and documentation generated by the staff.
Staff Meetings: Conduct regularly scheduled staff meetings to address concerns.
Collaboration: Collaborate with internal programs and other community service organizations to promote the Agency's mission, facilitate access to healthcare services, and procure needed resources.
