Location: REMOTE

Salary: $100,000.00 USD Annually - $110,000.00 USD Annually

Description: The Judge Group is currently seeking a Senior Technical Writer to support a newly awarded task order supporting the Air Force. This position will require occasional travel, including OCONUS. For immediate consideration email your resume to rkissinger@judge.com.

Responsibilities:


•Organize and maintain program documentation.


•Lead the development of templates for program deliverables in accordance with relevant technical standards, contract requirements, and OTS best practices.


•Research and write compelling original content for a variety of technical program documentation, including memoranda, briefs, plans, spreadsheets, reports, templates, etc.


•Review, edit, and rewrite content developed by others. Integrate content into final documents.


•Interview Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), engineers, and other technical resources on system capabilities and operation and develop content for test plans, system requirements documentation, training material, and other highly technical documentation.


•Track and ensure compliance with contractual and program requirements.


•Submit documentation, proposals, and deliverables in accordance with contract requirements and deadlines.


•Provide guidance and direction to technical writers.


•Develop and maintain process and procedure documentation. Train other team members on correct use and implementation.


•Provide regular updates to management, regarding progress, timing against deadlines, and necessary coordination with operations and contracts/compliance functions.


•Create meeting agendas, facilitate meetings, and accurately capture information in meeting minutes.


•Participate in working groups, Technical Interchange Meetings (TIMs), Integrated Product Team (IPT) Meetings, and Program Reviews CONUS and OCONUS, as required.


•Perform other duties as assigned.


Requirements


•Active Secret security clearance


•Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, IT, or related field and 5+ years of business experience in a technical field.


•Travel up to 25% CONUS and OCONUS, including quarterly trips to the Middle East.


•Advanced knowledge of MS Office, including MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, including creating templates, setting styles, using formulas and macros.


•Experience using and generating content for a Learning Management System (LMS).


•Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite programs, including InDesign, Illustrator, and Acrobat Pro.


•Experience developing content for non-native English speakers.


•Experience with C2 systems.


•Experience with large-scale DoD/Military programs.


•Experience creating custom compliant document templates based on contractual requirements, DoD/Military standards, and DI documents.


•Proven experience creating technical project documentation, e.g., site survey reports, test documents, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), training material, etc.


•Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.


•Excellent time management and multitasking skills. Ability to work well under pressure and with tight deadlines.


•Self-starter with strong critical thinking skills.


•Willing to work outside of normal business hours if necessary to meet deliverable deadlines.


•Comfortable working with others at all levels of the organization.


•Able to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical teams to gather input from multiple stakeholders.


•Exceptional ability to translate complex topics into clear, concise, and compelling content.
