Role description:

As a Senior Resident Engineer, you will play a crucial role in managing transportation infrastructure projects, with a primary focus on rail, light rail, and subway systems, including track, switches/controls, traction power, station, and tunnel projects.

Role accountabilities:

• Overseeing and coordinating work between all applicable parties to ensure smooth project execution.
• Reviewing and managing project documents, including Requests for Information (RFI's) and Submittals, to ensure compliance with client specifications and contract requirements.
• Leading negotiations with contractors and assisting in preparing change documentation.
• Working closely with project management staff to prepare project budgets and manage project scope, budget, and schedule effectively.
• Providing insightful analysis and reporting on key performance metrics to monitor project progress.
• Implementing appropriate internal control safeguards to ensure consistent reporting of accurate information.
• Acting as the primary point of contact for the client and the contractor, fostering strong working relationships.

• 7 - 10 years of proven experience in construction management, with a focus on transportation infrastructure projects.
• Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE), Project Management Professional (PMP), and Certified Construction Manager (CCM) certifications.

Arcadis offers benefits for full time and part time positions. These benefits include medical, dental, and vision, EAP, 401K, STD, LTD, AD&D, life insurance, paid parental leave, reward & recognition program and optional benefits including wellbeing benefits, adoption assistance and tuition reimbursement. We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $125,000 - $150,000.
