Role description: .

Our Maximo Technical Consultants are responsible for delivering and managing technical artefacts. The role encompasses design, development, testing, and documentation utilising application design, workflow, business logic extension, integration, reports and mobile application development. They work with the latest technologies, systems and methodologies utilising technology to optimise business processes. This role is a customer technical advisory position and will work closely work with our customers.

Role accountabilities:

As a Technical Consultant, your role encompasses a range of responsibilities, requiring both leadership and active participation in various activities:

Project Delivery: Implementing Arcadis, IBM, and other software solutions involves analyzing requirements, configuring, customizing, deploying, and developing solutions. This encompasses desktop, mobile, integration, and reporting components, utilizing Gen's DevOps set of automated tools.

Technical Leadership: Leading the technical delivery, taking initiative, and working closely with functional and architectural colleagues to ensure the timely delivery of optimal technical solutions.

Solution Specification and Design: Analyzing and implementing the best user experience for clients by aligning role requirements with the functional use of our product(s) UI, both desktop and mobile.

Communication and Customer Relations: Developing strong relationships with customers and stakeholders, aiding in identifying and analyzing requirements, and producing user stories. Additionally, establishing best practices for managing code, deployment, and test specifications, including test data sets.

Collaboration: Working closely with various teams, including Functional and Development teams, Project Managers, Technical Architects, Solution Architects, Scrum Masters, as well as Industry Solution Principals, Professionals, and Associates.

Must haves:


  • Experience in configuration and customization application as well as integrations
  • Experience in analyzing requirements (application/integration/report),design, build and deployment
  • Maximo functional working knowledge within the rail, infrastructure, utility, or similar industry
  • Maximo data model understanding of key asset management modules
  • Understanding of EAM eco systems and experience in integrated with key external systems
  • Integration test experience not limited to API and File data loads
  • Experience in design, develop and/or re-engineer Maximo application component and strong SQL experience
  • Experience in Maximo customization framework and enhancing custom logic using java or phyton
  • Ability to clearly document technical specification
  • Maximo architecture, release management, performance management overview and recognizes data as a key "asset"

Nice-to-haves:

  • Design experience with intermediate to complex integrations
  • Experience in all types of projects - Green field implementation, Upgrades and also application support
  • Expertise in design and building ICEFW Maximo components Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows requirements
  • Expertise in Design, Deployment, and administration of BIRT Reports
  • Maximo Integration best practices
  • Understanding of common integrations of key systems like SAP, Oracle and Primavera
  • Able to articulate the data integration transformations clearly and provide the solution
  • Working experience in Scrum and agile methodology
  • Best practices of coding and deployment
  • Effort estimation techniques
  • Mentor and Coaching experience

We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $82400 - 142140 / year.
