Job Description
Primary Function of Position

The Key Account Director plays a critical role in building and developing the installed base of daVinci Surgical Systems within key account represented facilities in the United States. The major responsibilities are to manage and direct the corporate level sales of daVinciĀ® Surgical Systems and to grow the utilization through increased procedures. This will be accomplished through a variety of activities including corporate level relationships, hospital/account specific activities and direct interaction with ISI Area Sales Managers.

Roles and Responsibilities


  • Provide single point of contact for all executive IDN groups

  • Align strategic resources with Academic customers to help them achieve their tripartite mission of Education, Research and Clinical Care

  • Develop and coordinate full IDN strategy across multiple sales teams, customer touch points and internal business units

  • Provides clients with product information, demonstrations, etc.

  • Manage key surgeons/customer relationships

  • Effective involvement in weekly and quarterly sales planning process

  • Extensive travel within the assigned territory

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • Minimum of 8 years sales experience with a minimum of two years sales leadership experience

  • Medical Device Sales Experience within the Operating Room preferred

  • Excellent capital and clinical selling skills with ability to quickly build credibility with a highly educated customer base and C- Suite level customers

  • Proven Ability to Develop KOLs w QTI Data and Centers of Excellence

  • Demonstrated ability to manage complexity and work in an environment of change

  • Knowledge of hospital/healthcare S=system business environment

  • Proven ability to coordinate and project manage people in complex environments

  • Health system account management experience
