A Day in the Life

Come join our team as a Production Planner at our facility in Billerica, MA, where you'll play a crucial role in supporting the platform for the treatment of cardiac arrhythmia. With our company experiencing rapid growth, this is your chance to grow with us!

As a Production Planner, you're the backbone of seamless operations. Throughout the day, you navigate between departments, keeping everyone on track and informed about work progress and inventory levels. You fine-tune production schedules, ensuring materials are in sync with demand. With precision, you schedule equipment and personnel, ensuring smooth workflow. Your coordination ensures that parts move seamlessly through the production process, maintaining efficiency and meeting deadlines. In this role, every decision you make ensures that production runs like a well-oiled machine.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.


  • Plans, prepares, issues, and controls production schedules and directs material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of raw and approved finished goods materials timed to meet production requirements.
  • Advises management of the status of work in progress, material availability, inventory levels, and potential production or material supply disruptions to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials, and services are provided on-time and at an optimal cost.
  • Schedules equipment and personnel, confirms material supply and demands, prepares work orders or purchase requests for the production or purchase of components or parts based on a master production schedule, shop load, and inventory requirements.
  • Coordinates interdepartmental activity with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, inventory control, traffic, demand planning, etc.; schedules and expedites the movement of parts by means of move orders, stock transfers, and requests for shipping orders.

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 0 years of experience

Nice to Have

  • Proficient in SAP or a comparable ERP system
  • Skilled in Excel
