Position Summary:

As a Senior Staff Assistant, youwill play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of the Office ofthe President and Chief Diversity Officer. We are seeking an individual withstrong administrative and organizational skills who is enthusiastic aboutworking with a diverse population and is committed to our mission of preparingstudents for local and global citizenship.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Assist in managing high-level executive calendars, scheduling meetings, and coordinating appointments;
  • Monitor budgets, complete requisitions, and process expense reports for various executives;
  • Collaborate with the Chief Diversity Officer on cross-campus initiatives, including speaker series, exhibitions, and diversity training logistics;
  • Assist with supply orders, events, and catering for the Students of Color program and Equity and Compliance Office;
  • Create list for Board of Trustees, faculty, and staff regalia and surveys for annual Presidential Evaluation;
  • Provide logistical support for committees, events, meetings, and projects;
  • Coordinate conference registrations and travel arrangements for senior staff members;
  • Work with Marketing to design invitations and announcements for college events;
  • Maintain data and records, create polls, and generate reports and research as needed;
  • Support the Capital Campaign through bulk mailings, letters, and meeting coordination;
  • Welcome visitors in a courteous and professional manner;
  • Organize and maintain the Executive Offices;
  • Handle general office tasks such as copying, filing, printing, and scanning documents;
  • Manage mail and deliveries across campus;
  • Back-up when Executive Director is out of the office;
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the mission of the College.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree;
  • Four (4) years of working experience related to the Essential Performance Requirements;
  • Demonstrated experience supporting an executive.

  • Experience working in a diverse environment;
  • Demonstrated commitment to working with underserved students;
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills and attention to detail;

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with financial and student information systems;
  • Demonstrated experience in providing excellent customer service;
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, reliability, and responsibility;
  • Higher Education experience preferred.

Additional Information:

Salary Range: $60,000.00 - 66,000.00 Annual Salary
