Key Job Responsibilities: The Director of Primary Care will be:
Responsible for formulating operational and business strategies for physician services across the state of Michigan.
Lead market positioning of services to provide excellent value-based care to the clients, communities and facilities served.
Drive strategic operations, finance, and compliance of the visiting physicians division.
Develop, and align systems, policies and operational strategies to maintain the direction of the division and promote growth.
Establish operating policies and procedures for the organization.
Oversee operational activities, compliance, align staff and resources, and ensure open communication between cross functional teams (ex: marketing, operations, HR etc.)
Promote the company as needed at events.
Measure and ensure effectiveness of all internal and external processes and provide timely, accurate and complete reports on the operating condition of the organization.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Communicate, collaborate with, enable, mentor and lead staff.
Qualifications
Professional Experience/Qualifications
3+ years of leadership experience in healthcare.
3+ years experience with Visiting Physician operations.
Bachelors Degree Required
Skills
Expert knowledge of business strategies and value-based care initiatives.
Demonstrated leadership and organizational management skills
Ability to lead staff and develop a team.
Well-developed planning, marketing, organizational development and business skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strategic understanding of information management systems and experience in integrating systems to support business objectives.
Willing to travel when needed.
