Your impact:

Men’s Health is seeking a full-time commerce editor to join our team. This role reports to the deputy commerce editor and is responsible for the production of shopping content across MensHealth.com. This editor will also write affiliate-driven news items and enterprise stories that relate to our audience. In addition to being a creative and ambitious self-starter, the ideal candidate has an editorial background in fitness, health, and/or sports content. They should be open to using data analytics tools such as Parse.ly and Looker to identify new growth opportunities for the site.

What you'll do:

• Work closely with the SEO and commerce teams to create affiliate-driven shopping content 

• Mine the latest medical research and scientific studies to update existing commerce content per SEO practices 

• Monitor data to fulfill affiliate goals for MensHealth.com

• Top edit shopping content for grammar, clarity, and commerce optimization 

• Write shopping stories with a strong point of view throughout the day

Who you are:

• 3+ years as a writer and editor, with a minimum of 1 year at a digital-first outlet. A background in ecommerce, particularly within the men's lifestyle or fitness space, is a plus.

• Enthusiasm about the lifestyle and fitness brands that Men’s Health regularly covers.

• Willingness to analyze data from multiple sources to inform Men’s Health’s fitness and nutrition commerce strategies.

• Investment in the overall success of Men's Health, and a willingness to contribute across the brand's multiple platforms. 

The base salary for this role is between $67,000 and $75,000. The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as: transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.

This is a position covered under the Writers Guild of America, East, Collective Bargaining Agreement.
