Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add an Equipment Maintenance Supervisor (Night Shift) located in Austin TX.

Reporting to the Direct Supervisor the Equipment Maintenance Supervisor (Night Shift) coordinates activities of personnel engaged in the troubleshooting, repairing and maintenance of manufacturing equipment to attain goals consistent with cost, quality, and delivery requirements.

Shift:

**Sun, Mon, Tues, every other Saturday 6:00p-6:00a (15% Dif)**

What a typical day looks like:


  • Directs daily department activities to maximize equipment utilization and support production needs.

  • Establishes preventative maintenance schedules.

  • Forecasts operating costs of department and directs preparation of budget requests.

  • Reviews and establishes material, equipment, and manpower resource requirements.

  • Coordinates maintenance activities with other functional groups such as engineering and operations.  Selects and develops personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the departmental function.

  • Administer safety programs to provide a safe and clean workplace for employees.

  • Generates maintenance logs and other operations metrics.

  • Work in a high-volume environment troubleshooting highly automated electronic and mechanical equipment in a timely manner.

  • Communicate effectively within the team, to customers, and to management.

  • Adapt to handle multiple assignments and projects and work to complete them rapidly and effectively.

  • Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

  • Interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:


  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field, military technical training or equivalent education and training.

  • 6 years of related experience and/or trade knowledge

  • Experience with working on highly automated machinery and robotics.

  • Speak effectively before groups of employees, manufacturing support, and peers

  • Should be well-developed problem-solving skills, and the ability to adapt quickly to changing demands.

  • A good understanding of PLC systems and automated systems. Should have good practical experience in PLC – Systems for robotics, process, or material handling work.

  • Need to be able to manage a large group of maintenance technicians across multiple shifts effectively

  • Work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.

  • Apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
