- Any working ability in KCMSDW, Market 6 or Business Objects
- Any understanding relevant business measures including profit/loss (P&L) drivers and resulting impact on business performance
- 4+ years of experience in merchandising, sales, or project management

- 4+ years of experience in store management or manufacturing/Corporate Brand Sales/Promo Planning- Implement the Commodity implementation strategy to achieve company objectives
- Drive mix and tonnage process with category management and manufacturing plants
- Monitor and influence pricing to ensure pricing is current and in line with market base
- Drive continuous improvement for each category, setting and tracking improvement targets in collaboration with Merchandising department
- Establish, monitor, and drive improvements on metrics for EBITDA budget achievement
- Extract and filter large amounts of data into clear and achievable action plans resulting in performance improvement
- Supervise an analyst to assist in the data extraction from Kroger systems
- Collaborate with the Merchandising and Our Brands Teams on discontinuation and portfolio management for assigned commodity
- Validate the Commodity Sales and Merchandising plan proactively
- Accountable for Merchandising implementation and execution of Merchandising plans and strategies
- Communicate annual category vision plans, including Our Brand initiatives, marketing and sales plans to the Respective corresponding Manufacturing plants
- Communicate Plant opportunities or challenges to the Merchandising Team effectively and proactively
- Challenge the various support teams to review and increase efficiency of work processes
- Travel as needed to visit plants of responsibility
- Supervise and coach direct reports in the performance of their duties; complete performance reviews and provide feedback to direct reports
