Job Description:

San Diego’s St. Paul's PACE program (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly). This innovative program is for individuals 55 years or older, who are living with chronic illness, or disabilities and need coordinated medical care to continue living as independently as possible in their home and community. The healthcare teams at St. Paul’s PACE provide a hands-on approach coordinating medical, social, and home care services so individuals no longer need to manage their medical care alone. 

Job Summary: Under the Supervision of the Health Information Systems Manager, the EHR Support Specialist will assist in supporting the Electronic Health Record along with any ancillary systems.  

Qualifications and Requirements:


  • Previous experience working with electronic health record systems, preferably as a trainer or superuser.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate effectively via multiple communication channels, including phone, email, video conferencing, and instant messaging platforms.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Knowledge of healthcare workflows and PACE practices.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with the ability to create, customize, and share documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and communication materials


Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for administrative & system support for PACElogic/Primesuite

  • Provide first line support for users and clinicians with questions and issues

  • Document issues and response in the internal ticketing system to ensure high level responsiveness and satisfaction

  • Configure user profiles and manage all user licenses within PrimeSuite/PACE logic

  • Coordinate meetings & trainings with software vendors

  • Participate in upgrade planning, user process development, and training

  • Manage projects related to software on an as needed basis

  • Assist in research, evaluation, and testing of new software and software upgrades

  • Provide timely end-user customer support to employees with a high degree of customer satisfaction

  • Submit, and track to resolution, PACE logic/Prime Suite issues using the Jira ticketing system

  • Coordinate and support the planning and facilitation of ongoing training sessions including functionality and upgrade roll-out.

  • Assist with administrative functions.

  • Coordinate special projects as assigned.

  • Attend weekly status calls with the EHR vendor
