JOB OVERVIEW



This entry level position will support multiple functions within the Legal Department specifically for the Truck Group including contract preparation, system administration and day-to-day operations.


Please note that this description is not all-encompassing as other ad hoc tasks are expected of the position.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS



  • Prepare, draft, and revise contract documents specifically related to Truck and Equipment Leasing and Syndication.

  • Track contract activity to ensure documentation is electronically sent and executed in a timely manner.

  • Maintain certificates of insurance for all leased equipment, including verification of required coverages, maintenance of tracking system, obtaining required renewals, and disbursement of insurance information to funding partners.

  • Maintain all internal document tracking and informational systems.

  • Prepare and disseminate information to appropriate parties regarding contract status.

  • Closely collaborate with the applicable internal teams to ensure contracts meet legal guidelines and Wheels policies.

  • Maintain contract templates in the Company's electronic files and maintain all original contracts in fireproof file drawers.

  • Assist with all aspects of Legal Department administration, as required.

  • Other Tasks as assigned.

  • Must be able to multi-task, be flexible, and be able to work independently, prioritize and complete projects effectively and efficiently in a time sensitive environment (often with tight deadlines).

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office environment.

  • Experience with contract management systems preferred.

  • Familiarity with DocuSign and Salesforce a plus.






EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS



  • Bachelor's degree preferred.

  • One (1) to two (2) years of industry experience preferred.

  • Previous experience in contract writing/negotiation a plus

  • Previous experience in a law firm or corporate legal department preferred, including as a paralegal.






JOB SPECIFICATIONS/ PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT




Work Environment: This position is in Alpharetta, GA and operates in a professional office environment.



Position Type/Standard Schedule: This is a Full-time position, and hours of work are Monday through Friday; 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. This is a hybrid role that requires the candidate to work in the office a minimum of 2-3 days per week (initial training period will require more time in the office) Travel: Little to no travel anticipated.



Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee must regularly talk and hear, and use hands and fingers to operate computer-based tools.
