SEACORP is seeking a well-qualified Senior Install & Assembly Technician.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Job Summary: SEACORP’s ElectronicWarfare group is seeking a motivated installation technician to support multiple programs. The role will consistprimarily of installing and assembling electronic warfare systems, troubleshooting, maintenance, andtesting. Occasional travel to customer sites isexpected for installation, integration, troubleshooting, testing,and operator training.
This role requires ahighly motivated individual with strong problem-solving and analysisskills. Someone who can learn quicklyand generate/apply new techniques and practices. Someone whocan work well both independently and as part of a small team in both civilianand military settings.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Attending both internal and customer facing meetings.
  • Document existing and new software architecture.
  • Participate in code reviews.
  • Adhere to coding standards.
  • Develop test plans and perform software testing and validation.
  • Generate and deliver presentations on work related topics.

Qualifications:

Education: Technical school diploma or equivalent.

Experience: 3 years of relevant experience. Military experience is highly desired. Navy ETs/FCs/FTs, ATs or similar electronic Rates/MOS desired.

Nice to have:

  • Experience working in classified spaces including laboratories, naval ships, and aircrafts.
  • Experience with the following will also be beneficial but not required: electronic equipment, radio frequency, signal processing, radar, direction finding, test equipment.

As a requirement of employment, all SEACORP employees must hold U.S. Citizenship

Location: Middletown, RI

Travel: 25%

Clearance: Secret

Work Environment & Physical Demands: Electronics Assembly and Testing Laboratory - Sitting and standing for extended periods of time. Significant use of small hand and electrical tools that require fine motor skills. Significant use of computers, including use of a mouse and keyboard as well as viewing computer screens. Occasional lifting <40 lbs.; infrequent lifting of <40lbs., occasional twisting, bending, stooping, reaching, kneeling and squatting. Work is performed in generally consistent environmental conditions for temperature and lighting, with some potential exposure to fumes associated with soldering. Personal Protective Equipment: safety glasses and safety shoes recommended.
