Associate Director of Employer Engagement



The Associate Director for Employer Engagement entails fostering employer relationships to enhance job opportunities for graduate business students, involving networking, strategic partnership alignment, and active participation in professional organizations. Additionally, the position involves overseeing data collection and analysis for student placement and program effectiveness, as well as providing expertise on industry trends and career development strategies. The individual serves as a liaison between students, employers, and various campus departments, guiding students through job searches, and assisting in program improvement based on performance metrics and industry insights.


Job Summary

Oversees academic and student development components for the department by executing initiatives, managing training programs, directing special projects, and counseling students.


Essential Functions

Employee will handle logistics and data-tracking and provide support for managing the logistics associated with on-campus recruiting. Employee will also maintain databases and provide information to supervisory staff, coworkers, and students. A significant amount of time will be spent on the computer; however, position is customer facing and will require travel. Some activities will require employee to be present at career services events.


Physical Effort

The position is sedentary in nature; however, travel on campus will be involved. Setting up areas for recruiting purposes may involve minor lifting or moving items.
