RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinate daily invoice processing activities to ensure accurate, efficient, and timely recording of invoices and payments.
Review expense reports for adherence to reimbursement policy guidelines.
Reconcile vendor statements, researching and resolving discrepancies.
Establish vendor, employee, and payment terms in AP system.
Process and audit 1096 and 1099 Forms for IRS submission.
Reconcile petty cash and credit card statements, along with other financial data from plants.
Communicate with vendors and plants regarding past due invoices and related issues.
Collaborate with IT team on enhancements to in-house financial system.
Make recommendations for improving AP policies, processes, and procedures, and create guidelines for plant AP staff.
Prepare data for management reports.
Assist with special projects, analysis, and reporting as needed.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
BA in Accounting or Finance
3+ years of direct Accounts Payable experience, including 3-way matching
Experience processing/auditing 1099 & 1096
Knowledge of Friedman/Frontier ERP software
Duration: Temp to Hire
Pay: $25-$30/hr
Hybrid: Monday - Friday 8:30am-5:30pm (Fridays - remote, with availability to come in on occasion)
