Permanent position
Hybrid - 4 days in office and 1 day remote
Annual Salary: $65,000-$125,000, depending on experience
Job Responsibilities:
Oversee audit planning and fieldwork for a variety of non-profit organizations and for-profit privately held businesses
Supervise and train staff on audit fieldwork procedures and audit theory
Complete management of compilation and review engagements
GAAP Financial Statement preparation and analysis
Prepare non-profit income tax returns and business filings
Job Requirements:
2-8 years of experience in the public accounting field
Non-profit accounting experience a plus
CPA license or be actively pursuing CPA license
Bachelor's degree in accounting
Exceptional project management, analytical, research, and written and verbal communication skills, coupled with the utmost attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously (multi-task) and effectively and efficiently prioritize and meet deadlines
Maintain professional demeanor and confidence communicating with clients
Strong understanding of general ledger accounting in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Experience with AdvanceFlow audit software, Lacerte tax preparation and QuickBooks accounting software is a plus
