Job Description:

Our client is located in beautiful Clearwater for a busy office. The Medical Front Desk Receptionist: provides assistance to patients, doctors, office employees, and other individuals. You will help the medical office run smoothly by scheduling appointments, greeting and checking in patients, answering phones, maintaining accounts and records, taking insurance, referrals, and other tasks as needed.






  • Essential Job Responsibilities: Answer and screens telephone calls in a courteous manner, and record messages for physician and other personnel.

  • Schedule patient appointments and procedures according to established policies and procedures.

  • Obtain accurate information from patients and ensure all registration forms are complete.

  • Collect patient and insurance payments and reconcile charges on a daily basis.

  • Verify account balances and provide information to patients regarding unpaid balances.

  • File records in appropriate sections of patient charts.

  • Prepare patient charts in advance.

  • Maintain files and records in a confidential manner.

  • Maintain organization and efficiency of front office, including office supply inventory.

  • Maintain patient confidentiality.

  • Perform other related duties as directed or assigned.




  • Qualifications: High school diploma/GED required

  • 1+ years experience in Medical front office

  • Electronic Medical Records

  • Referrals and Insurance

  • Must be able to Multi-task

  • Must have be patient and personable



Hours: 7am and 8am starts times available -- Full time * hour shifts Monday - Friday


Pay: $17-$20 / Hour
