WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Perform optical fabricating processes including but not limited to: coring, sawing, curve generating, plano generating, beveling, blocking, grinding, polishing, testing, cleaning, assembly and other related and similar duties.
• Perform simple set ups and operates equipment under direct supervision
• Maintain work area and equipment in a neat and orderly condition.
• Follow prescribed safety regulations.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

• Understand lean manufacturing principles and participate in lean activities as requested.
• Ability to read and understand drawings and process routings

WHAT'S NICE TO HAVE

• Previous experience with machinery or fabricating processes
