Here’s What You’ll Get To Do

• Cut aluminum extrusions to required dimensions


• Read and process work orders by due dates provided


• Lift and stack aluminum pieces (some could be 24 foot in length)


• Learn the profiles and different shapes of material


• Ensure the machines and tools are in good working order, perform daily cleaning and light maintenance on machinery/tools


• Maintain cleanliness of material storage area and work space


• Fill out picking lists correctly to ensure inventory accuracy


• Scrap damaged extrusions from material racks


• Fill out re-cut lists correctly to ensure inventory accuracy

 

Here’s What We’re Looking For

• Must have basic computer knowledge


• Must have the ability to read and use a tape measure


• Must be able to read and perform calculations and measurements with numbers, fractions and decimals


• Must have strong attention to detail


• Must be self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team environment


• An uncompromising safety-first approach in the workplace. At OBE we have each other’s back.

Physical Requirements

• Must have ability to stand, lift, bend, twist, walk and reach frequently


• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.


• Must have ability to work in a loud, noisy environment (due to machinery)


• Must have close visual acuity to complete necessary duties and responsibilities


• Must be able to work inside a warehouse that is not climate controlled


• Must be able to occasionally work outside
  


• Must wear all required PPE (gloves, safety glasses, ear plugs, hard hat, cut resistant sleeves, steel toe boots with met guard)
