The Role

The Marketing Manager of Medical & Service is responsible, working alongside the Director of US Marketing, for developing a comprehensive long term marketing strategy for the medical and service industries that educates, engages and drives recommendations and sales amongst the medical community. This individual is the face of HOKA with the medical community and the ombudsman of the brand in all medical subjects and embodies 360-degree behavior in supporting medical and service initiatives.

This Marketing Manager will work with all access points - Strategic, Fleet Feet, Independent Specialty, and DTC, to be the source of medical and service guidance, presentations, collateral and field activations. They will also partner with the Go To Market and Field Experience teams to ensure that opportunities in medical and service are supported.

It is critical for this role to develop and strengthen relationships with individuals in the medical community and with leadership teams professional and trade associations to ensure consistent brand exposure and messaging. They must also foster collaborative relationships with senior researchers and medical directors in academic and medical environments and research institutions--to expand HOKA's relevance and importance as an adjunct to patient care. They will collaborate cross functionally with Product, Marketing, Account Executives, Field Experience Reps and senior management to capture learnings, share goals and strategy and build new initiatives.

Your Impact
The primary functions of this role, include but are not limited to:


  • 1. Create a multi-year medical and service strategy that supports HOKA brand objectives. Work with internal and external stakeholders to develop and bring all facets of the strategy to life.

  • 2. Develop and strengthen relationships and partnerships with the medical community and professional and trade organizations.

  • 3. Support internal teams with executing medical and service strategy inclusive of assets, toolkits, education, and local connections with the medical community.

  • 4. Travel to and lead the planning for medical conferences, academic institutions, and key medical events.

We'd love to hear from people with


  • 4+ years relevant marketing and/or sales experience

  • Experience and familiarity with the medical landscape

  • Expertise in one or more of the following domains is a plus: Wholesale Marketing, Field Marketing, Digital Marketing, Partnership Marketing

  • Knowledge of current and future medical trends and the expertise and experience to guide and direct HOKA's medical initiatives

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, formulate project plans, and oversee budgets

  • Experience in the footwear industry and with specialty retailers

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent

$105,000 - $115,000

The salary range posted reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this role in our Goleta, CA location. Individual pay will be determined by location and additional factors, including job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
