Our client is seeking a Network Engineer I in Riverview, FL.


Role Description
This Network Engineer will assist in training for Help Desk support and Meraki updates.


• The Meraki team were set up as a side team to the UC virtual connect team.


• Spectrum acquired this software for customers to use and were still using the other company to do the training.


• Spectrum paid them per year to train new customers to use that software.


• Spectrum ended the contract and created internal team to do this.


• The Project Managers originally were setting up the trainings but weren't doing a great job so Scott's team took over these responsibilities.


• This NE will be reaching out to customers that have already bought the software - new customers that are about to be onboarded, scheduling training and training them on the new software.


• If there are technical queries that come up, the NE can log the issue and pass it onto technical support.


• Using Salesforce, they will be able to download a report of new customers to set up trainings with.


• This is not a ticketing role, so this person will need to be proactive.


Skills & Requirements


• Cisco device experience
• Meraki portal foundational skills highly desired
• Must have strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Must be comfortable working across teams and with various stakeholders
• Must be willing to adapt to change
• CCNA is a plus, but not required.
• Ideally technical support experience
• Experience with Webex is a plus
• No degree or certificate is required, however any additional training is beneficial
