Senior Director of Operations - Ancillary Services at PACS

Job Description:


  • Responsibilities place this member as a vital member of the ancillary executive team.

  • Will participate in weekly/biweekly ancillary executive staff meetings and quarterly for board reporting.

  • Helps in setting ancillary goals and standards and reviews performance against those metrics.

  • Reviews and approves adequate plans for budget spending and labor efficiency.

  • Provides reports to subordinates on interpretation of results and approves changes in direction of plans.

  • Presents reports on performance as requested by the Vice President of Corporate Development.

  • Defines and recommends objectives and standards in each area of operations and strategy.

  • Develops specific short- and long-term plans and programs to hold local and regional leadership accountable to their clinical and financial results.

  • Reviews and approves cost control reports, office/location and region budgets, and forecasts for all new acquisitions and focus offices/agencies/locations/facilities.

  • Reviews and endorses or revises budget proposals received from direct reports.

  • Coordinates and collaborates with other departments, including but not limited to HR, AP/AR, IT, marketing, etc, in establishing and carrying out responsibilities.

  • Reviews and approves the setting of budgets throughout the HH&H organization and supports those of other ancillaries and reports to the Vice President of Corporate Development.

  • Reviews and approves Operation's major projects (capital equipment, building, etc.) and ensures the work associated with those projects is carried out timely and up to company standards.

  • Selects and maintains qualified personnel in all positions reporting directly and recommends compensation for them. Involved when requested and is necessary in the recruitment of other key personnel.

  • Identifies training needs, initiates development of subordinates, recommends effective personnel action.

  • Implements Administrator in Training (AIT) program, as needed, to ensure future talent is well-trained for offices/locations leadership.

  • Seeks mutual agreement on problems involving coordination.

  • Collaborates strategically with local SNF and senior living facilities, support personnel, and other organizational resources.

  • Consults with all segments of management responsible for policy or action.

  • Ensures compliance within area of responsibility.

  • Makes recommendations for improving effectiveness of policies and procedures.

  • Approves budget/credit card expenses for all immediate reports.

  • Be a role model for adhering to our Mission, Vision and Values.

  • Attends key meetings in various regions to ensure compliance and quality
