POSITION SUMMARY:

The Head of Channel Development will help define and refine the growth strategy for Overdose Reversal Sciences (ORS) Business Unit in Indivior. The Head of Channel Development is responsible for developing strategies and tactics to ensure the successful launch OPVEE® and other ORS products.

Furthermore, the Head of Channel Development will work closely with the President for US Overdose Reversal Sciences (ORS) and in close collaboration with corporate leadership. They will identify strategies for new market trends along with tactics for opportunities and potential risks to OPVEE® and other Overdose Reversal Sciences product candidates.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to, the following:


  • Strategic Planning: Collaborating with the president to develop and implement long-term strategic plans that align with the ORS Team's goals and objectives.

  • Cross-functional Coordination: Acting as a liaison between the president and other team senior leaders, departments, and stakeholders to ensure smooth communication, collaboration, and execution of commercial initiatives.

  • Act as the commercial liaison to the Government Affairs & Communications teams.

  • Ensure updates to opioid overdose reversal protocols and regulations, which lead to broad access and access to government funding, are attained.

  • Ensure execution of an effective communications strategy that aligns to the priorities of the organization and the commercial team.

  • Project Management: Playing a lead role in the planning, execution, and successful completion of critical commercial projects and initiatives.

  • Lead Emerging Markets Team: Develop a strategic plan(s) and oversee the execution of federal/national overdose reversal accounts and pilot programs to expand access and distribution of overdose reversal agents and other Indivior products.

  • Lead a team of Emerging Market Directors (currently, 1). Their focus will be to expand access and distribution into alternative markets such as schools, EDs, collaborate with the CJS team, and other unrealized markets.

  • Support the strategic engagement to access public funding. Develop tactics to support the execution of those strategies.

  • Executive Support: Providing comprehensive support to the president, including preparing meeting agendas, coordinating travel arrangements, and handling other administrative tasks.

  • Work with field management to identify target decision-makers within the government and community health marketplace.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree required; graduate degree preferred.

  • 15+ years in Commercial pharmaceutical leadership roles.

  • Strong Business acumen and proven leadership skills within a commercial pharmaceutical business.

  • Broad knowledge of the biopharma industry.

  • Well-developed knowledge of the systemic cause surrounding the opioid epidemic.

  • Strategic and creative thinker who knows how to work collaboratively.

  • Able to collaborate and lead on cross-functional strategic initiatives.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Possess high ethical standards

  • Estimated travel at 40% (COVID-19 Permitting)
