Part-time Tank Inspection Consultant - Houston area

Intertek is searching for an API 653 certified Inspector to join our Industry Servicesteam to take on the role of Consultant. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow a versatile career in Inspection for a well-qualified candidate. This is a part-time, on-call position working with a variety of clients, based from our Houston, TX location.

What you'll do:

• Organize and assign business projects.
• Meet with clients to perform assessments.
• Support recruitment of new hires.
• Support promotional campaigns.

What is takes to be successful in this role:

• Current API 653 Tank Inspection certification required; additional certifications a plus
• Minimum 15 years API inspection experience (required)
• Experience managing large-scale projects
• Valid TWIC card (required)
• Valid driver's license and reliable driving record (required)
• Maintain open lines of communication with coworkers, clients, and subcontractors
• Ability to provide clear and technical guidance to other technicians and subcontractors (preferred)
• Ability to solve technical issues in the field.
