Description: Job Summary: The Network Engineer is a key member of our IT shared services team, responsible for supporting the network infrastructure across our portfolio of privately held companies. In this role, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the stability, security, and performance of our network environment
This job will have the following responsibilities:
Network Support:
Provide technical support for existing Cisco infrastructure deployments.
Troubleshoot network issues, resolve escalated tickets, and participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support
Network Design and Optimization:
Lead the design of the overall network layout, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
Monitor IOS versions and schedule updates as needed.
Implement industry best practices to enhance network resiliency and performance.
Configuration Management:
Design, test, and deploy Cisco configuration templates.
Document network configurations and maintain process documentation.
Health & Safety:
Prioritize health and safety by adhering to policies and processes at all times.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Cisco certifications (CCNA, CCNP) preferred.
Proven experience in network engineering and troubleshooting.
Strong knowledge of Cisco technologies, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
