Description:
The IT Governance Consultant plays a critical role in ensuring that the organization's IT systems align with its business objectives. They develop and implement IT policies, manage risks, and oversee compliance. This position is essential for maximizing the efficiency and security of the company's IT infrastructure.


Responsibilities:


• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their goals and objectives.


• Translate business requirements into IT governance strategies and initiatives.


• Identify and assess risks related to IT processes, systems, and projects.


• Ensure alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.


• Monitor adherence to IT policies and procedures.


• Conduct regular compliance assessments and audits.


• Build strong relationships with IT stakeholders, including C-suite executives.


• Facilitate communication between IT and business units.


• Proficiently create and deliver compelling presentations using PowerPoint.


• Communicate complex IT concepts effectively to various audiences.


• Engage with internal committees related to IT governance.


• Follow up on action items and provide updates as needed.


• Familiarity with the banking industry is advantageous but not mandatory.


• Approachable, collaborative, and personable.


• Interacting with C-suite executives.


Qualifications:


• Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, or related field (Master's degree preferred).


• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.


• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.


• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
