Job Description:

The Referral Outreach Representative is a key member of the Marketing team and will work within a territory to secure patient referrals from clinics, counties, and other organizations.

This sales-oriented role requires travel throughout a territory to local communities near Nystrom clinics. You will market our therapy, psychiatry and substance use treatment services through face-to-face visits with health care organizations, events, providing tours, doing presentations and more. You will also act as a liaison between the Nystrom and referral partners as needed.

This position is full-time and fully remote with travel to local communities and in-person team meetings as needed.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Identify existing or potential referral partners in your territory. Stratify them and determine the best ways to reach them.
Develop relationships with current and future referral partners to understand their needs and provide feedback to management on how well current services meet referral sources needs.
Deliver the highest level of sales and customer service to current and potential referring partners, patients, and community partners.
Effectively market to current and potential referral partners all of Nystrom's programs and services in a clear and accurate manner.
Create and implement a sales plan.
Initiate, schedule and track face to face appointments with referents and members of leadership or clinical staff and document your work in our customer relationship management system daily.
Increase the number of referrals by continually developing a stronger relationship with current and potential referral sources.
Represent the organization in a professional manner at civic and professional functions as it fits into outreach, including at conferences or events in your territory.
Work collaboratively with members of the team, including the clinical staff to promote all Nystrom programs. This includes planning and/or coordinating outreach meetings with referral partners/potential partners, large events as well as attending various community meetings as directed/appropriate.


Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree preferred in the field(s) of business, marketing, communications and/or psychology/Social Work, and/or 2+ years of work experience.
Sales or referral outreach experience preferred - especially in healthcare/behavioral health.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
Ability to learn and utilize customer relationship management system for tracking outreach daily.
A valid driver's license is required.
