Job Summary | To provide spiritual and emotional support to pediatric and adolescent behavioral health patients, their families and the staff, primarily in Kentucky Children’s Hospital. |
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities | Interpersonal and customer service skills, work independently, organizational, administrative and clerical skills, excellence in written and verbal communication and ability to work within a team. Ability to utilize knowledge and skills while working in a professional environment. |

Preferred Education/Experience | Required: A Master of Divinity (preferred) or Master of Theology. Four units of Clinical Pastoral Education from an ACPE accredited training center; endorsement by a religious body as a chaplain and Board Certified or eligible for certification through the Association of Professional Chaplains (APC), National Association of Catholic Chaplains (NACC), or Neshama: Association of Jewish Chaplains (NAJC). Preferred experience in an adolescent behavioral health. Residents who have completed a third unit of CPE and are currently enrolled in a fourth unit are strongly encouraged to apply. |
