The Cooper Standard IT Team in Northville, MI has an exciting chance for an Intern to receive an introduction and hands-on experience with Digital Transformation, Robotic Process Automation and Artificial Intelligence with an emphasis in pilots and production rollout of use cases for Information Technology and other functional areas.
This Summer Intern position for 2024 will provide you with an opportunity to understand new technology, learn about the latest innovations and collaborate with the IT team while optimizing, automating functional processes and delivering value to Cooper Standard.
Primary Responsibilities:
Participate in AI training as required to advance pilots expansion and production rollout
Provide support to review and load data as appropriate for use case deployment
Prepare and update metrics as required to ensure value and benefits are delivered
Provide ongoing support to IT to expand the digital transformation program
Participate and contribute to IT assignments such as tools update, communication and reporting
May, on occasion, be required to perform duties other than those specified in this description.
Education and Qualifications:
Junior or Senior level student in college
Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration or related field at an accredited university with a minimum 2.8 GPA
Preferably with some understanding of Artificial Intelligence technology
Strong written, verbal, analytical, and interpersonal skills required
Must be detail oriented and possess excellent follow-up skills
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
Must display maturity and high level of professionalism
Able to work from our Northville location as required. This position is eligible to work remotely.

Travel to manufacturing facilities or customer locations when required
