Responsibilities
1st Shift - 6:00 am to 3:30 pm Monday through Thursday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm on Friday and Saturdays as business needs dictate
Starting pay $18.00/hr, additional compensation will be evaluated based upon experience
Now hiring for a Production Worker in our "CARES" (Cleaning and repair evaluation services) Department. This role will be counted on to perform the following tasks:

Inspect, review, and evaluate turnout gear ranging in age and condition
Prep, repair, and conduct alterations of turnout gear
Construct/build/assemble a variety of small parts to support production value streams
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Computer skills: Basic skills with Microsoft 365; ability to navigate order system and access basic data.
Ability to sit and stand during an 8-hour shift
Ability to push, pull, and lift to 25 lbs. as needed
Excellent communication skills and ability to work with employees at all levels
Knowledge of Globe products and materials
Able to multi-task, depending upon department needs
Working knowledge of NFPA 1851 standards (training provided)
Extensive understanding of products and applicable work instructions dating back 10 years from present
Ability to collaborate in a team environment
Willingness to perform a variety of tasks
Experience with patterns and/or alterations
Prioritizes own tasks to complete them in a timely and accurate manner with minimal supervision.
Positively approaches change or new situations.
Education Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience Required:
1+ year stitching experience
