Position Summary:

This position supports the Corporate Development group and Executive Management team.  This includes, but is not limited to, analyzing acquisition opportunities, supporting the Wine & Spirits and Beer divisions in evaluating strategic initiatives, complex financial modeling, and industry related analysis.  Direct interaction with executive, senior and division management teams is required.

Responsibilities:

Process owner of financial / valuation modeling as part of the Corporate Development function, which includes:


  • Creating complex, flexible financial models for use in assessing Mergers and Acquisitions


  • Managing the collection and organization of relevant project data from various corporate, divisional personnel


  • Interacting with external parties regarding Corporate Development activities including business case assumptions and outputs, valuation sensitivities and information requirements


  • Lead acquisition related due-diligence


  • Assist Project Management Office with integration related activities Continuously evaluate industry trends and competitive landscape for purposes of target identification


  • Lead day to day activities of other high-profile, strategic projects as required – e.g., footprint optimization, large scale capital expansion, asset divestitures, partnerships, minority investments, etc.


  • Develop strong relationships across operating companies and central support functions


  • Work closely with internal leadership as the company undertakes new initiatives (mergers, acquisitions, strategic projects) to ensure effective and efficient execution of operational objectives


  • Act as a trusted internal partner for rapid, complex analysis supporting business decisions


  • Prepare executive management and board level presentations summarizing findings and recommendations


  • Other Corporate Development related duties and special projects as required


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's Degree required; MBA strongly preferred


  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a finance or business analysis role


  • Very strong analytical skills and business acumen – ability to rapidly come up to speed on new issues and identify the critical questions to be addressed


  • Excellent project management skills – ability to structure a complex issue and rapidly identify and test hypotheses


  • Strong communications skills and ability to communicate and influence all levels in the organization including a broad base of finance and business partners


  • Sufficient influence to effectively resolve issues and ensure business and resource commitment


  • Demonstrated ability in leading / managing projects (with other functional areas, peers) and direct reports


  • Very strong people management skills – ability to lead a cross functional project team


  • Comfort working through ambiguity and in a rapidly changing environment


  • Experience with a large consumer product company


  • Strong spreadsheet proficiency and analytical skills


  • Ability to interpret data and analyze findings


  • Project management experience


  • Excellent communication skills required (both verbal and written)

The salary range for this role is:

$100,600.00 - $157,300.00

This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.  We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, the prevailing minimum wage for the location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. We offer comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.
