About the Job

We have a Full-Time opening for a Psychiatric Nurse Manager at our Administrative Office in Medford, Oregon, Lane Service Center in Eugene, Oregon or our Portland Service Center in Portland, Oregon. The Psychiatric Nurse Manager provides clinical nursing oversight of the Health Services Unit (HSU), and direct supervision and training of nursing staff for residential and service programs. ColumbiaCare is looking for someone who will honor and value Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion through professional modeling and mentoring.

The Psychiatric Nurse Manager provides oversight to nursing operations in the HSU and residential and service programs to ensure that administrative operations, policies, and procedures are followed and that medication compliance standards are met. This includes hiring, onboarding, and training nursing staff, evaluating their performance, providing nursing consultation, and overseeing services provided by the nurses.

The Psychiatric Nurse Manager also develops, implements, oversees, and evaluates quality assurance measures and other policies, procedures, and trainings, to ensure delivery of the highest quality of client care. This position does require occasional travel to multiple ColumbiaCare Services programs.

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00am-5:00pm with some on-call work via phone (Full Time, Day)

What You’ll Make

$8,333.33 - $10,000 per month DOE/Credentials.

Additional 5% Language Differential offered for Bilingual or Multilingual candidates (Spanish/English desired).

About the Program

Our vision for the Health Services Unit is for all residents living in ColumbiaCare facilities to receive the highest standard of health care that encompasses both their mental health and physical health needs and treats the whole person, using a health-oriented model that focuses on the resident’s holistic healthcare needs.

What You’ll Need

  • MUST have valid Registered Nurse license issued by the Oregon State Board of Nursing
  • Previous experience providing acute psychiatric care, residential care, or outpatient community mental health treatment and management of staff required

Driving is an essential function of this position. Successful applicants MUST also have a valid Oregon driver’s license, maintain a safe driving record, and the ability to pass a DHS criminal background check.


Physical Requirements:This position requires the ability to frequently talk, listen, use hands and fingers, sit, stand, walk, reach; as well as lift, carry, push, and pull up to 40 pounds. It may require the ability to occasionally climb stairs and ladders, bend, stoop, squat/kneel, and perform other physical tasks as applicable. In addition, you must successfully completecrisisde-escalation and CPR trainings, which require performing various physical, hands-on maneuvers and techniques. Reasonable accommodations can be made.
