This position provides administrative support to the Chief of Plastic Surgery and other plastic surgery faculty.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Maintains calendars and coordinates meetings; answer/triage phone calls and greet visitors. Collaborate with other administrative assistants within the department with any needs regarding patients or faculty members.
Prepare documents, maintain confidential files. Distribute incoming correspondence and mail management. Order/maintain office supplies, provide back up administrative support as needed.
Coordinate travel arrangements and reimbursements. Prepare all check requests for the faculty and APPs
Maintain timekeeping records for faculty. Prepare and track clinic cancellations requests. Assist with credentialing paperwork for faculty. Monitor job performance of administrative staff. Serve as a delegate for various administrative duties
Perform all other job related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Associate's degree from an accredited college or university and one year of experience.
OR
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent from a recognized State or Federal accrediting organization is required and a minimum of four years progressively responsible office support experience.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Ability to maintain confidentiality Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer software/databases Detail-oriented with strong organizational, prioritization and multi-tasking skills
