What You Will Do



Job Summary:

Support integration of program design, implementation and merchandising creation for Trade Marketing and Merchandising. Develop internal cross functional synergies paired with external key vendors while driving influence through project management, executional mechanisms, and other tasks to ensure a flawless delivery of programs from start to finish. Participate in trade marketing activations, retailer event plans, Point-Of-Sale Processes, and other activities linked with retail/direct account specific plans.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Understand brand strategies and build comprehension trade and go-to-market selling stories. Create selling materials that clearly articulate the benefits to the adult consumer and to our retail and wholesale customers in a meaningful way. Develop the right incentives to drive successful execution.


• Support channel and account planning strategies and execution plans by leveraging data and insights, analysis of post-program results, and channel / customer needs. Provide recommendations that deliver best-in-class trade execution for each channel and select customers.


• Identify and analyze customer needs and understand market trends, in conjunction with category management & Insights team, to recommend customer activations that maximize our categories and brands competitive position in the marketplace.


• Build a strong partnership with our Category Management team, understanding shopper behaviors and shopper journey to recommend in-market trade programming to further connect our brands with adult consumers at point of purchase.


• Support key vendor relationships to ensure best-in-class trade activation and merchandising aligns with category and channel expectations. Develop and track KPIs to ensure we optimize all trade and merchandising efficiencies.


• Lead process and implementation of customer and shopper activation programs including end-to-end process and design/implement of core merchandising elements.


• Lead process, design, and implementation of all trade show booths and promotions, most importantly, the nation's largest convenience trade show (NACS).


• Build merchandising materials to build awareness and understanding of products and value proposition for direct accounts and retail customers.


• Coordinate the creation of trade communication materials and content to support trade activations for multiple categories.


• Provide recommendations based on analysis of post-program results, provide quality and timely briefs for external agencies/internal stakeholders, and develop shopper programs based on path to purchase for categories and Company brands, in support of organizational goals and objectives.


• Support annual business planning process including key building blocks for growth, identify risks and opportunities within the plan. Build and manage budget of respective responsibilities.


• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.



Qualifications



Required Minimum Qualifications:

Education and Experience:


• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or other relevant field and 7+ years work experience

Knowledge of:


• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, & PowerPoint) and Microsoft Teams

Work Environment and Physical Demand



• Requires light physical effort. Occasionally lifts or moves light objects (under 10 lbs.).


• Walks, sits, or stands for prolonged periods.


• Requires prolonged machine operation including computer and keyboard equipment as well as use of manual dexterity and fine motor skills.
