How You'll Help Transform Healthcare:

Work in the Carilion New River Medical Center Emergency Room as an intern for the Pharmacy department! We need your help to interview incoming patients to update their home medication lists. Sometimes this involves light detective work and probing questions to get accurate answers, but it is key to ensuring patients get proper management and care. The training we provide will help you gain familiarity with the majority of the Top 200 prescription medications (brand, generic, indication).

- No experience required.
- Request a commitment of a year or longer (Freshmen-Juniors welcome), but may consider summer-only commitment in special circumstances.
- Prefer candidates to be interested in healthcare (pharmacy school, medical school, nursing school, PA school, etc.).
- Flex-time position. Minimum of every other weekend and one weekday evening per week.

What We Require:

Education: Typically a junior-senior level undergraduate student or student in a Master's degree program.
