Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client located in Falls Church, VA that is looking to hire a Financial Analyst. This role will be instrumental in the budgeting, forecasting, and project management activities of the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Financial Analyst will analyze financial data and provide forecasting support


• Develops and/or drafts contracts for executants and/or consultants and monitors compliance with contractual terms, particularly financial reporting, providing guidance and ensuring timely receipt


• Organize data into accessible reports and perform various types of analysis using key metrics


• Oversee financial functions, such as assessing, auditing, planning, budgeting, taxes, consolidation, cost control and project control


• Evaluate and analyze capital expenditures, depreciation, proposals, investment opportunities, rate of return, profit plans, operating records, financial statements, etc.


• Analyze current and past financial data and performance


• Prepare reports and projections based on analysis


• As a Financial Analyst, you will evaluate current capital expenditures and depreciation


• Identify trends in financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement


• Coordinate with other members of the finance team to review financial information and forecasts


• Provide financial models and forecasting

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business-related field


• 2+ years of accounting or FP&A experience with exposure to budgeting, forecasts, and variance analytics


• Prior experience with contract management/review a plus


• Experience in Microsoft Excel performing VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and advanced formulas

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
