WATER PRACTICE

Michael Baker International's Water Group provides innovative consulting, planning and engineering solutions for the entire spectrum of the water cycle. We have proven experience in providing a full range of professional services from scientific and technical analysis, concept through design, and construction support services. Protection and management of water resources starts at the watershed level and follows the movement of water through urban and agricultural areas, streams, lakes and reservoirs, water distribution systems, wastewater collection systems, and water/wastewater treatment plants.

WATER RESOURCES ENGINEER DESCRIPTION

Michael Baker International, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Intern for our Water group in our Houston, TX office.

You will work with the H&H and drainage design group. This role will expose the engineer to a wide range of interesting applications under the supervision of experts and industry leaders in Water Resource Engineering

PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Enrolled in pursuit of a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Minimum of some secondary completed coursework in students' field of study
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, are essential to success in this role.
• Computer skills in Microsoft Office. AutoCAD or Microstation design software is preferred
