MAIN PURPOSE


  • Supervise and Coordinate Instrument & Electrical Maintenance and Reliability Activities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Directly supervise the Company Instrument and Electrical crafts
  • Develop Company crafts and maintain craft competency including continuing education.
  • Coordinate and Supervise Instrument and Electrical contractors.
  • Own the electrical distribution network, including troubleshooting, preventive and predictive maintenance, upgrades, replacements and repairs, and maintain high availability on that system
  • Maintain planned work backlog in SAP, including Preventive Maintenance, coordinate work scheduling with Operations.
  • Assure all required regulatory maintenance is completed on time and documentation is filed accordingly.
  • Perform first line troubleshooting as required to support crafts, this includes after hours call out support as needed.
  • Issue RFQ documents and input requisitions for materials and services as needed.
  • Mark up specification sheets and drawings as needed for Management of Change (MOC).
  • Support Capital projects and Turnarounds.

COMPLEXITY OF THE JOB


  • Strong understanding of Instrumentation and Electrical technology and how to apply to troubleshooting.
  • Ability to work with cross functional problem-solving teams.

  • Supervise direct Company crafts and maintain a highly trained workforce to support safe and production.
  • Maintain accurate backlog of planned work and supporting Operations Production needs

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, LANGUAGE, & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS


  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
  • English language required
  • Knowledge/Experience: Trade school preferred or years of experience.

    • Minimum 15 years' experience in Electrical & Instrumentation maintenance, including high-voltage switch gear (up to 15 Kv).
    • Minimum of 5 years' experience supervising Electrical & Instrument Crafts.
  • Physical requirements for the position: Ability to climb stair wells, walk long distances, standing long periods of time.
