The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As a Sales Leader, as a future sales leader, you will play a crucial role in driving our sales strategy, expanding our customer base, and achieving our ambitious growth targets. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed targets.


• Identify new business opportunities and build strong relationships with potential clients.


• Lead and motivate a high-performing sales team.


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives.


• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities to identify market opportunities.

Company Vehicle

This position requires driving a company vehicle, which will require pre-employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and hired for this position

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution and seven (7) years of territory sales experience in a market valuing over $1 million annually

OR

• High School Diploma/GED and fourteen (14) years of territory sales experience in a market valuing over $1 million annually

AND

• Five (5) years of experience in sales management/leadership


• Current, valid Driver’s License

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Seven (7) or more years of territory sales experience in one of the following industries (Transportation, Consumer Goods, Electronics, Safety & Industrial)


• Experience collaborating and working cross functionally


• Team player with strong interpersonal and team building skills


• Self-starter open to running projects that need process definition


• Key account management experience working with multi location customers


• Experience calling on and managing corner office executive level relationships


• Experience managing a complex channel landscape within accounts over $1M


• Presentation skills, CRM (Salesforce.com), written and verbal communication, business planning, sales, and competitive testing


• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint in a private, public, government or military environment 

Work Location:

Sales Territory: Remote Within USA

Travel: May include up to 50% domestic

Relocation Assistance: May be authorized
