Description: The Judge Group is seeking a Business Analyst for a 6+ month contract opportunity with a banking client. This requires a hybrid schedule of 3 days a week on site.

Role Overview: The Business Analyst (BA) plays a crucial role in strategic initiatives. They analyze business problems, identify opportunities, and recommend creative solutions. The BA collaborates closely with key stakeholders, subject matter experts (SMEs), and project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
Business Needs Analysis:
Partner with internal departments to understand business needs and propose solutions that add value.
Collaborate with Product Managers to analyze business requirements and define success criteria for new initiatives.
Requirements Management:
Elicit, document, validate, and manage traceable business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Facilitate design workshops to create functional workflow diagrams for current and future states.
Change Management:
Assist in implementing change management requirements during program delivery stages.
Testing Coordination:
Manage and coordinate program functional testing (Component, User Acceptance Testing).
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
Proven experience as a Business Analyst in banking, financial services or related industry.
Strong analytical skills and ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
Demonstrated experience Gathering Requirements, Creating User Stories, and leading UAT
Advanced knowledge of business tools and applications to include MS Office Suite, Visio, Azure DevOps, Jira
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred:
Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA).
Familiarity with banking systems and processes.
