Prudential Retirement Strategies Team is hiring an Associate Actuary to work with the agile team responsible for conversion of Retirement Products from legacy system.

The current EWA for this position is Hybrid and requires your on-site presence on a reoccurring basis as determined by your business. Your manager will provide additional details relative to the specific number of days you are expected to be on-site.

What you can expect:

• Lead model enhancement and testing for Retirement products


• Identify and execute on planned process improvements


• Design, build, and test solutions in Python/Tardis/Power BI


• Partner with Valuation, AMFM, and PolySystems to test model enhancements


• Lean into agile best practices to drive culture of technical excellence, focus on value, and prioritization

What you’ll need:

• BS in Math, Actuarial Science, or Computer Science


• Experience working with actuarial models


• Superior technical skills. Experience with SQL, Python, Power BI, and other coding languages preferred.


• Ability to understand complex quantitative concepts and models


• Strong communication skills, able to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audience


• Creative problem-solver and results-oriented


• Fast learner and ability to work in an multi-functional team environment


• ASA designation is preferred.

The salary range for this role is from $115,800.00 to $172,300.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
