Sr Manager, Cybersecurity Program Management (New Health Care Company)

The Impact You'll Make in this Role

As a Sr Manager, Cybersecurity Program Management, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. This is a multi-faceted role spanning Program Execution, PMO Governance, and Strategic Planning. Here, you will make an impact by:


  • Supporting the demand planning process to establish a multi-year roadmap covering operational, project/program, and cost requirements.

  • Supporting the establishment and implementation of flexible, but consistent portfolio and program management processes, tools, and repositories

  • Providing leadership and direction to multiple project and program teams, pro-actively overseeing project execution ensuring overall program deliverables are met per cost, schedule and scope commitments including tactically driving projects and programs forward as needed.

  • Continuously and proactively evaluating programs and the projects within them for risks, issues, and interdependencies, both within their native portfolio as well as across the enterprise. Providing leadership and guidance for effective mitigation strategies, conflict resolution, and escalation support.

  • Maintaining regular interactions with executive sponsors and key stakeholders to inform, alert, negotiate and maintain a continuing good relationship and shared vision for project and program outcomes. This includes providing regular status reports in various formats and forums ensuring full transparency of program status and health.

  • Leading the development of the overall program approaches, its major time frames, and the definition of its major deliverables to achieve target objectives and business outcomes. This includes establishing appropriate governance and operating cadences.

  • Maintaining responsibility for controlling program costs, maintaining an accurate forecast and regularly reporting variance against budget.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field

  • 10-15 Years Project Management experience in a large multi-unit organization required. Program management experience required.


OR
  • Highschool Diploma/GED with 15+ years of Program Management experience

AND

  • 3-5 years supervisory experience overseeing large scale projects, global teams, project managers, application leads.

  • Advanced program management skills in complex IT and business environments, including ability to coordinate multiple teams in various locations and time zones. Deep project management experience managing large-scale, global implementations. Must possess extensive knowledge and expertise in the use of Project Management methodologies and tools.

  • Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to develop and communicate objectives, inspire and motivate staff, and maintain alignment with the business strategy.

  • Excellent analytical, strategic planning and execution skills.

  • Advanced PMO Governance skills with a proven track record of establishing and implementing right-sized processes to drive transparency and predictable outcomes

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:


  • Master's degree Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field Ability to deal with a complex business model in a global environment

  • Project Management certification (e.g., PMP)

  • A high degree of political sensitivity, astuteness and the ability to use the informal power structure of the organization to achieve program success and overcome obstacles.

  • A high level of empathy and the ability to vary styles of interaction to match the needs of a variety of temperaments and personalities.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain and "sell" the program goals and objectives to the business, as well as technical leadership.

  • Influencing and negotiation experience and skills in an environment with high competition for resources.

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $207,348 - $253,425, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
